My latest acquisition is a brand new Canon EOS 7D with KitI (EF-S-85IS). Since the time, I have got my hand on it, it has become my constant companion. It had cost me Rs. 120, 000/- (inclusive of one additional EF100-400 mm lens).
Since I have laid my hands on it, it has become my constant companion. It is a fabulous camera, the best that I have handled till date. I am basically an amateur photographer, but do get a few assignments every year and that necessitated procuring a good camera.
Canon EOS 7D is a 18 MP DSLR. Some of its features are as follows:
IMAGE RECORDING: CF Card Type I and II, UDMA-compliant CF cards, Recording to USB external media via Wireless File Transmitter (WFT-E5).
Viewfinder : Eye level pentaprism
Shutter: Electronically controlled, 1/8000 to 1/60 sec. Shutter is soft touch electronic.
It also has movie mode with full HD recording with sound.
Li-Ion battery - approximately 1000 shots per charge without flash.
Flash is pop-up type inbuilt.
Viewing screen is 3" TFT - Excellent live view shooting.
The weight of the camera is approx 1 kg with lens.
I would say, 'Go for this camera without hesitation.'
