The first reason for writing this review is that even I read a number of reviews before buying a SLR and they really helped me a lot, so I hope that even my Review would help many of you to take a sound decision.
A couple of moths back, I hardly knew anything about SLRs. what I knew was that I had to buy one. After a deep research I finally shortlisted Canon eos 600d and nikon D3200.
Both cameras are equally good, and I finally chose Canon eos 600d on the basis of reviews and advice from my friends.
One of the best camera I have ever used. I love photography. In the spirit of Canon's imaging supremacy, the EOS 600D adopts a generous 18-megapixel CMOS(APS-C-sized) sensor that empowers you to take all manner of scenes from vast, breathtaking landscapes to close-up wildlife shots in explicit detail. Having a massive 18-megapixel resolution also means that you can still turn your photos into gallery exhibits even after cropping them. The LCD size is 3 inches. the imaging Processor is DIGIC 4. it is amazing camera for me.
However all this becomes insignificant as soon as you start working with speedlights or strobes. However camera gives you a great manual control and tonnes of features for beginners, making Canon a great camera to start with, as well as, a stand by camera for pros.
he image results are damn good, colours are crisp, bright and just what one can expect from a dSLR.
This camera is pretty decent for beginners. Its easy to use with the Auto mode even for an amateur. But if you want to utilize the full power of the camera the manual mode is perfect! With the IS lens your pictures won't go blurry even taking pictures at low shutter speed(without tripod). I would say this is the perfect buy if you are planning for an SLR.
Image quality:
On Low ISO(100-400) image quality is Very good as expected.
On moderately high ISO(800-1600) image quality is good and noise level is very low.
On high ISO(3200+) image quality is quite good and noise level is also low but visible.
So on my opinion this camera is very good response on light and better image processing.
Video quality:
I have not check this feature as I wanted this camera only for image shooting.
Auto focus:
On moderate light it work very good, but in low light sometimes auto focus don’t work well and need to switch to manual focus which is again great.
Image stabilize(IS):
This works great as canon provide lens level image stabilization. While taking snap if your hand shake then also it will take care of it. But if you expect that it will work against long exposure time then it won’t work well.
