Last Year October was the month that I bought this awesome camera with a lot of research. Initially I thought of going with a basic Dslr but my budget was out of my thoughts. So I decided for best point & shoot camera. Only two brands were in my mind one Canon & other was Nikon. After a lot of web search I decided for Canon but almost Nikon & Canon were same in all aspects.

Here are my main reasons why I decided to go with Canon IXUS 125 HS.
The Canon IXUS 125 HS is one of the stylish IXUS range, featuring a 5x optical zoom lens with a focal range of 24-120mm.
The 16 megapixel offers a back-illuminated CMOS sensor, Full HD video capture with stereo sound and 240fps slow-motion movies
Wonderful Battery Backup with continuous 600 shots approximately
Price was the major reason to go with this amazing camera all at just 11, 200 INR
Ease of Use:
Camera is designed at its best shape, it has a great grip and very easy to handle and light weight too. The main reason of not preferring Nikon is placement of buttons, where as in Canon the placement of buttons is well structured and has a good format. It can produce some amazing photos with just automatic mode in good light conditions, no need to worry about advanced settings. Optical Zoom is not that advanced but does a good job.

With a total of 11, 000 bucks you can get a great camera along with 4gb sd card and nice camera carry bag. Make sure that battery is always removed from the camera after usage. They provided me 2 years of canon warranty but till today I never found any issue. HDMI cable is too provided which can be connect to tv and some advance external devices.
Cons:
5x optical zoom should have been better in terms of clarity
Full HD 1080p Videos do struck a little bit in the frame rate(very minor) not noticeable
Conclusion:
If you are searching for a good point & shoot camera around 10k, this camera is probably one of the best in current market. Go 4 it.
