Its laughter all the time with Calvin and Hobbes. Its my all time favourite comic strip and I go into depression if I miss even one feature of Calvin and Hobbes in the newspaper (ok ok a bit of exaggeration just like Calvin)
Well full points to the creator of C&H for the extraordinary imagination and wit he puts in. the sketches of Calvin with his over expressive expressions will take your breath away (hehehe.. exaggerating again). Calvin's stuffed tiger Hobbes which comes alive when both of them are alone is also such an interesting character. I remember in one particular strip where calvin asks Hobbes how are human beings useful in any way. Hobbes replies- they form a very good source of protein and the way Calvin reacts with his small eyes closed and his hands over his ears in disgust was very funny.I simply blew my head off laughing (no no no not an exaggeration this time). Calvin's parents and his girlfriend susie and their encounters with calvin's misadventures makes Calvin and Hobbes extraordinary
