Cactus is one of the best-located restaurants at Vashi. It is in sector 17, busy business area. Many of you might have visited that place because of its location.
We used visit that place quite frequently but couple of month’s back we went there during lunchtime and found that it has became a Thai restaurant. They have a big menu card with too many Thai dishes. Everyone was very happy specially our two kids.
Food -
We ordered variety of rice plates with chicken and fish combinations. And the food was just horrible. In no way taste and flavor, match original Thai food. We could not even consume 50%.
I asked for Fish Kaliwada with my favorite Kingfisher. That was good but less spicy. It is better to avoid if you are familiar with Thai Food.
Ice-cream -
They have quite good stuff in stock. They have a counter outside their restaurant. One can relish ice-cream from there too.
Drinks -
Well, good stuff is available. Number of times I have visited that place before becoming so-called Thai and yes, they maintain reasonable varieties.
Sitting arrangement -
Very congested sitting arrangements and difficult to move legs like many other Mumbai restaurants.
Interior -
Interior decoration is not at all impressive.
Service -
Thik thak hai and nothing special.
Never forget to tell thanks after getting tips.
One can use credit card.
Price tag – Quite reasonable but very expensive if one cannot eat what one has ordered.
Since then we have not visited that place and we could find out a better alternative.
