First of all a big thanks to the Sony Team & the creative unit of CID for bringing out such a thriller and taking us away from the sorryful daily dramas which are light years away from reality. I have been an avid watcher and follower of this team almost since it was telecast on Sony. Faces have changed, new added, gadgets modernized but its the same old CID which keeps you in your seats ever friday night. The Special Bureau which they have launched keeps us in our seats even on mondays and tuesdays nowadays.
The best things about CID are:
The entire thing gets over in 2 episodes - from murder to finding the murderer
You donot come to know about the killier till CID tells you!
Even after so many years of telecasting, they have only added more quality to the storyline - very hard to find these days.
You come to know about latest gadgets in this field -- though some are still virtual reality according to me.
They even have stories against their own officers!
Their WORLD RECORD episode - wherein they completed the entire episode without a single cut - is a first of its kind.
Low on background music - high on quality. You get only music when you want it. Not like other serials where you find it hard to hear the dialogues but can hear the background music clearly!
Would like a movie from these guys - would defilitely be a hit
The worst things about CID:
Have to wait one full week to know the outcome of the case! Though this has changed to some extent - the Special Bureau episode comes Monday & Tuesday which is also engrossing!
Have some funny devices at times and also show some unrealistic ways of crime.
Cant they make it a daily soap!
Forensic lab has only one person doing all the stuff.
I feel they should add more to the story line by bringing in more characters and have multiple cases being solved simultaneously - they have already started it in a few episodes.
Overall, its a complete family package with real entertainment that too for a low cost.
Its a package you wait for and feel that you should have more of it.
A definite watch and wish the CID team all the best for their future
Keep up the good work and saving all the souls from the saas-bahu rona dhonas and making the world a better and happier place to live in.
Highly recommended thriller if you want entertainment & education. The Special Bureau is also doing a great job
