Good Work C.I.D!!. Review on C.I.D. - TV Serial

C.I.D- Iwill say it is the best detective serial available in the hindi entertainment channels. I had been continuosly watching it for the past 2-3 years. It has a good story with a right mixture of suspence and drama. The serial is a weekly half-an-hour long. Each story spans over two episodes.

The C.I.D department is comprised of six members- five gentlemen and a lady officer. The main officer ACP Pradhyuman(played by Shivaji Satyam) is simply superb! I like his way of dialogue delivery. Others are also good and do their part well.

The episode starts with a 2-minute visual of the crime. After a while the C.I.D enters the scene. Then starts a series of questioning of the witnesses and collecting of clues and fingerprints from the crime scene. The criminal is mostly caught with the help of forensic science.

I have noticed that in some stories of C.I.D, the first half seems dull but the concluding part is always full of twists and more engaging. Direction by B.P.Singh is excellent. Recently the show made an attempt to enter the Guiness Book of Records for 'World's longest shot'. The record attempting episode was a 111minutes long and also had a good murder-mistry story. But the long episode seemed somewhat dull as the entire story was set up in a single set.

In short it is the only watchable show on Sony Entertainment Channel.
