Hi,

here is one checklist [simple+technical] that u can refer easily-

1.decide size, there are varous sizes 14,20,21,25,29,29+ mind u, 25'' is also available. and it can be good option at times.

2.decide prize range.

3.DONT decide company, well I say this because whatever brands are available are really good brands, and most importently they are mere BRANDS and NOT MANUFACTURERES, many of them have same manu. but different brandnames.

4.then comes the real nightmare, deciding abt model refer this,

decide abt wattage, I may not need to go for higher wattage like 1000W or so, very rarely u will use even 30% of it. TV's main purpose is to show picture and not sound right?

never go for figures, check sound quality and range by urself, ask dealer to actually increase the volume as much as possible.

  1. check for graphic equalizer, this is the one thing that can shape ur sound as u want

6.go for any advanced tech. like DNIE or so, they are quite useful.

7.check if the TV has saperate memory [presets] for sound and picture

no two channels have same sound and picture sattings, so its advantageous to have sch presets.

now here is something abt SAMSUNG TV

i have this at my home, and trust me it has very good design, technically.

it has eqalizer, auto volume, power bass, sound level and each setting is diff for each channel!

it has picture presets, DNIE, noise reduction, hue adjustment!

with permutation and combination of these u can have perfect sound and picture as u want.

cons are wattage is quite low. and each channel has saperate volume level, it may become annoying at times, there should have been some feature to override this.
