Sony DSC H10. Review on Buying a Digital Camera

I was looking for a digital camera which will give me some extra features like manual speed, aperture and ISO settings and also easy to understand and handle by children. This has both some features of professional camera as well as simple settings to be used by childrens.

Zoom - 10 X, which is equivalent to 38 - 380mm, most of the compact Digi Cam comes with 3X Zoom, which helpful in indoor only.

LCD Screen - Large 3" with anti glare coating

Flash - Powerfulll flash auto and manual setting

Modes: Auto, Program auto, Video,  Low light, sports, ISO, Manual, Beach, Landscape, Twilight Portrait, Soft snap,

Tipod socket - Yes

This one very having a good zoom for ameture photographer, only thing needs to remember, use tripod or rest your hand on sturdy base while taking snaps on full zoom. With help of EV(exposure) control you can over or under expose your object.

Multi point metering and focussing gives good details in photographs.

Resolution - 8 Mega pixel, enough for 8 x 11 inch print

Video - 640 x 480, 30fps

Image stabliser for shaky hand

connectivity - USB 2.0

But I use my card reader which accepts memory card of camera, not required to take out the USB cable evry time.

Burst photography - Burst Speed(Maximum) Approx. 2.0 fps

This is a good compromise between Digital SLR and Compact Digi Cam. If you go for a good Digital SLR with accessories, Digital SLR  will cost you around 100K. Sony DHC H10 will cost yoy jus below 16K. You can see the result and performance of this camera in my photo collection.
