Recently I have bought Butterfly 3 ltr cooker in Dmart Velachery and when we used it in first time the house the pressure valve broke and it almost went to burst stage, after that we checked with Dmart and they told us to contact Butterfly customer care and the customer care provided us Velachery service person contact details.
The service person said that Velachery service center is closed and asked us to go to Kodambakkam which is around 10-12 kms away from Velachery but the Kodambakkam service person didn't pick up the phone, so we searched in Google and went there but it was a wrong address and the service centre has been moved to another area, again we complained to Butterfly customer care and they connected us with that sales person, then only they provided us the address, after we reached there they mentioned that they will replace the Butterfly 3 ltr pressure cooker and asked us to wait for 4 days. But after few days they called me and mentioned that their manager (Murugan) is not agree for replacement and provided me the manager number.
When I contacted him he said he is not authorised to replace and asked me to get the replacement from Dmart Velachery and asked me to go to Dmart and provide their mail address and details. We went to Dmart and connected with their manager (Vinoth) and get the mail address and details.
The Butterfly service manager mailed them and again we went to Kodambakkam service center to get the defective product and get it replaced in Dmart Velachery. There we waited for more than an hour to get it replaced because they mentioned there was no sticker to mention that it is a defective product.
After we got the replacement from Dmart and in home we tried the new Butterfly 3 ltr pressure cooker and once again it almost came to bursting point, the pressure valve got broken again in the newly replaced product in the first pressure itself.
Very worst products from Butterfly and useless service centres and customer care. I have been chasing these people for 2 weeks and it's a mental torture.
When I reached the Butterfly customer care they again asked me to come to Kodambakkam.
This is very irritating and a major safety concern. We have a 4 month old kid and we travelled all this place with kid only.
If the cooker bursts in the kitchen while the kid is also there then who will be responsible?
Very very very worst experience with Butterfly pressure cooker. Will never buy a Butterfly product in my life.
