Expectations! High Expectations! and look what happens.... a horrible film. This is how one could summarize the B&B experience. I had to sit through the entire movie because I paid the money....and definitely regret going to the movie.
What drove me to the theaters were its promos. All of us thought that it would be a laugh riot, good comedy, and a good cast with the likes of AB2 & RM. I would say what ever you see in the promos is the good part! If you see the promos thats all what the film is...nothing more.
The Pros:
Abys Baby - Abhishek rocks. I would say his performance has been very good and improving with time. Its said slow and steady wins the race...which could well be associated with Abhishek. He looks more natural...and feels into it rather than is acting.
Neutrals:
Rani is ok, trying hard to impress AB --- for the real life!
AB himself - I would say that not one of his best performances. Too few scenes here and there....shown smoking all the time both AB & his baby....very bad impression on
the minds of people...
Others in the film....is there anyone else???? The main focus is on these three...mainly B& B.
Finally there is also Ash in the film! She does an item number...if one says so. Dont know why the put her there...no association with whatever was going on.
Cons:
Very poor story. even poorer execution.
Have shown that no one recognises B&B...inspite of them having sold the TAJ, looting shops, selling hotels and being in contact with 100s of people.
They keep moving from one place to another looting & harrasing people...and suddenly you find Rani is pregnant!.....
Songs here and there....forcing songs into sequences where they are not required.
A longish film....very boring at times. People started leaving the theates before it got over!
In the entire movie I feel there are only 2 good comic instances which would make you laugh...if atall you feel like laughing after such a boring movie. If you think this is a entertainer you are thoroughly let down. Kya Kool Hai Hum is a better one, and if you are thinking of watching B&B I would say either go to KKHH or Jo Bole! They are far better.....
