BSNL broad band service is good , I have been using it for more than a year at Jaipur .
The only minus point is BSNL is not sure of whether their DSL is available in a given area or not . Their staff at the exchange would advise people to first take a landline and 10 days after the landline is activated , they can tell the consumer if the DSL is available or not .
Rather than spending the money on full page advts , I suggest that BSNL train their staff and improve their internal systems so that the availability of the DSL can be told to the consumer.
Also, the activation of the DSL should be hassle free with minimum documents.
Plus, they should declare their DSL reach on their website , and map it to the PIN Code of the area.
They should not ask for lot of Form Filling if the customer is already availing some other BSNL service.
Their web site should also provide their locations and franchisee addresses.
