Dear Friends,
I am now a BSNL Landline & Broadband customer since 1 month and few Days, I have some thing serious to say to all peoples who are in a plan to take Landline or BSNL connection in Kerala, I have approached BSNL Office at Pathanamthitta District of Kerala as I need a Broad Band connection at Home, I have inquired all the details and ended up in appling a Land Line Connection along with Broad Band.
They have brilliantly impressed me by the answers Below for the Queries for Taking Broad Connection, I will quote down my quires and replies given by the Officer at BSNL.
Officer who have attended my queries have told the following requirements and the features regarding the speed of Broad band, Free Calls and the Installation Times as of below.
You will need to apply for a Land Line in order to get a Broad Band Connection.
Your connection will be allotted and installed within 2 working Days
599 Plan( un limited Internet with no Speed limitations)
Speed will be guaranteed on 2Mbps .
Unlimited Calls from 9 pm to Morning 9am
I was impressed with the above details as everyone know we cant get a Un limited data plan on 599 with 2 Mbps speed, I have given all the documents and
applied for Broad Band and Land line on 16 - October - 2017
I have expected a visit from a technician from BSNL within two dates from 16th October, after two days no one have came or not even a sms have came from BSNL Office regarding the installation. I have visited the office again and inquired regarding the delay, they have given me a technicians number and told me that you have follow up with that guy for the installation.
It took 3 days the call to be picked up by the technician, on 21st October 2017, technician have told me that he will be inspecting the location and do the needful for the installation on the very next day.
7 days have left I have not got any call or visit by the technician, I was messed up and have written a complaint and submitted it to the senior officer with all details.
After two days technician have came with an angry face and installed the Wifi Modem, and I have not purchased Land line phone even I got connection I dont want to pay bill for that too.
What Happened to me after getting the connection.

I got an sms before one week of installation that " Your BSNL Service have been started successfully), means I have got started billing before one of installing the broadband.
The Speed( Bandwidth) offered was 2 Mbps, and am getting 500 Kbps when checked via multiple software tools
3.As I have mentioned above I have not installed Land Line Phone and on my first bill I have came to see charges for 18 calls( even with out phone at my home)
Dear friends, this is what happened to me with bsnl, on the above issues I have filed a complaint and awaiting for the reply and explanation from BSNL.
My Advice for those who own or who are in a plan to take BSNL Connection

They Offer up to 8 Mbps speed, but you may not get at least 1 Mbps, Make sure your location have fiber cables of BSNL, Only fbre cable locations can give at least 50% of the offered Band width. They may hide this fact.
They may offer the connection will be installed in 2 working days or less, please ensure to acknowledge that offer in a return slip of application
Monitor your bill. it may have anonymous call charges even if you have not made any calls, I have heard that technicians can call to any number from anyone connection by attaching a telephone to the PaBx junction boxes, If anyone makes any threatening calls to anyone we may be in trouble.
This is the advice what I need to put forward, better go for another good Broadband service providers for a result what you are expecting for.
NB; The experience explained above is what happened to me, if anyone have any objection regarding what I have stated please feel free to comment me, I can explain with the proof.
