Breaking Dawn comes up short as a story. Totally and completely comes up short. What's more, I know disappointment. I got a F on one of my Fiction Workshop stories. I realize what disappointment in fiction resembles, so I can without much of a stretch spot it in others.
Breaking Dawn is a story with NO CLIMAX. A peak in a plotline is definied as the most astounding purpose of strain in the story and rather than that we get a development and a development and after that. nothing. They have a BLOODY CONVERSATION. There is no fight. There is no extreme go head to head. It's a discussion.
A story with no peak is not a story. It's more than 700 pages of WAFFY "yippee I got my marriage, my interminability and my bebe!"
Everybody get's the glad completion despite the fact that they didn't work for it by any stretch of the imagination. It was a vacant closure. They didn't need to do anything, everything just becomes all-good.
