Format: Brandfactory gets multibrands and sells at discount. It must be to everyone's common sense how the discounts are given.
a. Most brands ship non-selling, bad design, defective items, wrongly labeled items to Brandfactory at throwaway prices.
b. Brand factory sells it at some margin.
c. Future group sells it's own brands like John Miller(and couple of dozen more brands) along with big labels.
d. Observe that WILLS/V-Dot, Arvind products are not good compared to merchadise they sell in their own stores.
However if we carefully choose mechandise we can be lucky shoppers, I have shopped at brand factory since last 6 years here's my experience,
Bought Liberty buy 1 get 1, both shoes didn't last 1 year, one shoe upper was'repaired' and made to look like new, It came to light after 2 months only.
I have bought 2 wills shirts in 2007, they still look good, no fastness, great quality.
I bought Levi signature jeans two years back no issues at all.
Bought Bare casual shirts, really value for money compared to Arvind brands.
JM sports T shirts are priced low as well, but do check quality and then buy.
Most future branded items are of not good quality, some are ok, some are waste of money.
Overall footwear is waste of money as such discounts are common in many shops.
ALWAYS try and ONLY then buy, some brands label sizes wrongly and gve to brandfactory.
Peter England, Turtle, Wills, Color Plus, LEE, Wrangler, Arrow, IZOD, Ruggers, Levi, Status Quo, Proline normally refresh their stock more often than other brands and you cannot go wrong with them.
The consumer has to insepect the product carefully, try it and only then buy it, most branded items which don't sell well will land up at Brand factory. For instance there was a whole lot of JOHN PLAYERS trousers which were wrongly stitched and was tight on left leg & loose on right leg, they were sold at 75 flat off .Rs.195 a piece. I bought it later altered into shorts!
So choose carefully, Brand factory though most hated is also one of the hottest strores in B'lore. Just be caustious while shopping!
