This review is regarding the nightmare experience we had after booking a transportation service from BPL Logistics Noida.
Firstly they do not quote the complete amount first time. They quote the amount excluding different charges which shows them to be cheaper then other available options.
After having booked their services we had to chase them for the status of the delivery for~3-4 days where every time we were told that the goods are yet to be transported. One day suddenly get a call around midnight to pay additional amount of~9.5k. We were threatened that if the additional amount was not paid then the goods will not be transported and additionally, per day charges of INR 2.5k shall be levied for the storage.
When asked for the proof where they had communicated the GST and Insurance charges, we were told that the recording of the communication will be given in morning only and till that time INR 2.5k must be paid. They also said that we were blackmailing them, while, on the contrary they had our luggage, they had our money(INR 17, 000) and we were called blackmailers. There was an additional amount of INR 3.5k levied on the freight charges which again we came to know at midnight. It was never communicated to us about this additional charges.
Anyhow seeing no option, we transferred the money immediately. The very next day we called the customer care to check the delivery status but there was no response from their end. After numerous attempt we managed to reach a person and he told that the goods will be transported next day and not the day it was agreed. When asked for explanation it was again said that we are blackmailing them.
Moreover, when we checked the luggage at the destination, 1 of the item had a big crack and another item was slightly torn.
Anyhow the lesson learnt is that NEVER EVER to use the services of BPL logistics. The person who is reachable @ the number mentioned on the website does not communicate the right transportation costs @ first time, levies miscellaneous charges basis their discretion and then when justification is asked, he says that the customer is blackmailing them.
It was a nightmare for us to use the services of BPL logistics and others should give second thoughts while using their services.
