Borra(meaning "hole") cave is situated in Ananthgiri hills of Araku valley(Andhra Pradesh) where you can go by bus or train. After reaching Araku valley you will easily get taxies and cabs for Borra cave and if you are planning to drive by yourself, I must tell you that roads are very dangerous there so it would be better if you let a trained driver drive.
Borra cave has interesting folk story behind it's discovery, it is said that one day a man lost his cow and later on he found out that his cow fell into a hole and even after falling cow was safe, when he went inside of the hole, he saw a rock in the shape of "Shiva Linga" and then news spread that Lord Shiva saved his cow. Cave still have that Shiva linga and people offer prayers there.
While entering cave you will find many monkeys there, they will snatch food items from your hand and some might jump on you also, so be careful. For soveignier you can buy bamboo mugs and bamboo art works which are available outside of the cave. And the last thing don't forget to try bamboo chicken there.
