While in malad a friend recommended me to try this place for north indian/mughlai
I went in onna weekday noon and the place at a quiet number of tables occupied.
In my book crowd= good food.I got a table as I walked in and was served water and given the menu.
I either eat chicken or mutton and aboid seafood from most places. The day I visited them I wa sin mood for mutton and my favorite dish being mutton rogan josh while in chicken its has to always be butter chicken. However my friend ony has chicken so we decided to order a butter chicken and mutton rogan josh and further share a chicken biryani.
We ordered our food and told the waiter to keep it medium spiced, about 5-10 mins later our food was served.A restaurant that serves quick is a plus plus. Who ever likes to wait to be served no matter how good the food is.
I dipped my roti into the rogan josh and took a morsel and went. Mmmmmmm this is so flavorful and looked at my friend who did the same. I took a spoon to try it and wow! It had been a while since ive had great butter chicken. We finished our gravies and had space for a biryani, we ordered the chicken biryani and was set back by the huge quantity figuring out how do we finish it.
The biryani had lovely aromas of the basmati rice combined with other spices and the chicken was perfectly cooked. Not under cooked and not over cooked. Not many get it right.
At the end we had place for dessert but had to pack the biryani to relish at night.
