EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE with BookMyRelocation and Mr. Anil Sharma

I wish I could give negative stars for the service provided by BookMyRelocation and Mr. Anil Sharma. I strongly advise against wasting your hard-earned money on this unreliable company and its unresponsive representatives.

Mr. Anil Sharma is adept at making excuses. I relocated to Germany in September last year and, unfortunately, chose BookMyRelocation to handle my personal belongings. They collected my boxes from New Delhi on September 16, 2023. Mr. Sharma assured me that the boxes(approximately 25) would be dispatched after my departure on September 29, 2023, and would arrive within 6-8 weeks.

Upon my arrival in Germany, I contacted Mr. Sharma to send the boxes, which led to a series of excuses. In November 2023, he claimed the boxes were undergoing customs clearance, so I expected some delays. However, this marked the beginning of a series of lies and excuses from Mr. Anil Sharma.

Contrary to his initial promise, he never provided any tracking information after receiving payment. The complete delivery took almost 8-9 months instead of the promised 6 weeks, turning the experience into a nightmare.

Individuals like Anil Sharma can make your life extremely difficult when you are trying to start anew with your family. They act as significant obstacles on your path to success.

During the harsh winter in Germany, with temperatures dropping to -15°C, I had sent clothes and essential items for my children based on Mr. Sharma's false assurances. His unprofessional and unethical business practices caused immense suffering for me and my kids.

When I requested compensation for the delay and damaged items, he initially refused. After numerous discussions and follow-ups, he agreed in writing to pay INR 50, 000 within 6 weeks, against my estimated loss of approximately INR 100, 000. Despite this agreement, he has stopped responding to my calls and messages, and the payment is now delayed by 2 months. I have a written email from him confirming the agreement, but he seems to disregard it.

There are already some cases against BookMyRelocation and Mr. Anil Sharma in consumer court, but neither he nor his lawyer has attended any hearings.

Once again, I strongly advise against using the services of BookMyRelocation or Mr. Anil Sharma. Do not waste your money on such an unreliable company.
