If your kid has problems like sitting in one place is hyperactive or suffering from ADHD please stay away from the school.
We had been through trauma. the head teacher and councilor continuously judge the parents and will make you visit school every second day.
After a year of back to back sessions with councilor in the new year councilor started 'Just like Asthma aggrevates when you are in dusty surrounding similarly your house environment is increasing the kids ADHD behavior.'
I was shocked to hear this and requested please don't say such things before my husband. For which the councilor replied I am councilor for your son if you have problems with your husband go and see the family councilor I am not sitting here to do family counseling. When did I say that I n husband have problems we r joint family and these statements can break families.
Post which councilor was very angry because I opened my mouth before her and replied back for first time. she went to principal and after some time made us sign on paper that now onwards my son will be sent home for a week on every complain they receive and that we agree to it.
These papers she didn't let us take photo saying it's not allowed as per school rules. These papers were enough proof on how they treat the parents and kids with hyperactivity.
Now started the real consequences. immediately the next day they sent him home and said not to send kid to school for a week. After a week he went school for another 1 day and this time again they sent him home saying don't send him to school another 1 week. The principal said this will keep happening again and again. please also start looking for other schools and we will be sending him back home.
Post which I never sent him again to this school.
I feel sorry for all the parents that I see standing in queue during parents meeting outside councilor office and principal office for their turn to get bashed . They don't have any value for our time and if we leave without seeing councilor means that we don't care.
And by any chance if you unknowingly smile during these councelling sessions which I did you are dead, for next whole year. they kept repeating mom has no seriousness n was laughing. God save me I have a naturally smiling face and by no means was laughing.
During these councelling session they will control your whole life, you kids life, your whole family's schedule they decide what time you eat, what time you sleep, what you eat, how you eat, who will prepare breakfast, who will prepare lunch. who will give bath to the kid, who will take kid to school bus. who will play on which days, which activity he will go, how many days he will sleep with grandparents vs parents. they micromanage every activity of your life!! And if you fail in following any of it they will blame you for your kids ADHD behavior.
We parents take all of this thinking this is for our kids betterment and scared of being removed from the school. I kept quiet for a whole year. but I think why do we think we are doing right by putting our kids in these hands. what do we know how are they being treated in school ? If they can treat us parents in this way will thet treat the kids well?
They are not capable of handling kids with special attention and hyperactivity.
Please keep yourself away of this trauma if you know your kid is hyperactive don't get the admission, they are not equipped to manage your kid. Or be ready to be puppets in the hands.
