The first time you ask a person that have they used Blogger or do they blog, the answer you're likely to get is ''WHAT'' is it some sort of an obscenity or a bad word, but worry not BLOGGING as its popularly know it today is set to revolutionize web communities and the best part it anyone can write on any subject.
The latest trends to hit the Internet, for people who want to share some thoughts and insights and air their views, as and when they like.
A lot of people just use it to write about stuff happening to them in life, relationships, current issues or just whatever seems to stimulate a desire to write.
A nice way for budding or amateur writers to develop their skills, and there are many tools available to let you know how many people have visited your blog or they can contact you via e-mail (if you leave it there).
You can post hourly, daily or whenever you feel like it and the best part is that though you can make it public or private they remain your own views where in you don't get biased by other opinions or comments. You can delete a post if you like or edit it whenever you like,
This is still in its incumbency in India as is reflected by some users who quite haven't fathomed the idea of how a post is different from a mere description, its quite evident if you read some of the blogs on rediff.
Blogger & Blogspot.com is another great site if you are into blogging and its free (though a premium service is available), it has some beautiful templates for background and imaging for your blogs and its very easy to use as such. Just write something down, choose a template (some users have developed some really cool ones).
Others can also rate your blogs and go through all the posts, and let me tell you there are some pretty good bloggers out there.
BLOGSPOT (i.e. BLOGGER) also offers people to host from their own servers, and profiles too are available. (only for Blog Plus Pro members).
Blogger has a unique feature that you can form a team of bloggers and write opinions on the same blog thus ensuring a frank and varied outlook to an issue, I have yet to come across this feature in other blog sites.
Some people have put in a lot of work in these web logs.
Overall I recommend blogging to everybody who have problems communicating their inner most thoughts with their near and dear ones (like me!!) so I'm all for it...
You have the discretion if you would like to use a single blog or if your topics are far ranging and varied you can get another web address from Blogger, Blog Spot. Rediff blogs too.
It's become a craze for me these days and I hope some MS USERS too become frequent bloggers.
The only difference between MS and blogs is that here you can only write about products, services etc. while in blogging you can write about yourself your neighbor, anything you want so it feels quite liberating to me at least , to let it all hang out and not hold anything back.
I would recommend people who pay shrinks for therapy to use blogs it's quite effective!! & Free of COST
The best part is that as these services are still free and space isn't an issue (yet) you get your own blog page on the website you use (Blogger, blogspot/ rediff) and you can have as many blogs as you want to have or continue to blog and post updates by using the archiving tool which is available.
