Subhash Ghai, who takes a great pleasure in doing Musicals, did a great job by making this movie. he picked up a good topic (Considering he like to make Musicals). Unlike Fanaa & Main Hoon na, his attempt of Black & White is more subjected & particularly tackling to main theme - Global Terrorism
Debutant Anurag Sinha fits his role in this movie very well – be it the first scene where he's shown recording a TV feed or the later ones where he shoots. His serious, calm look is very intimidating though charming. Anil Kapoor again proved that he is a good actor and not something irritating like in Tashan. The new girl does not convince and I doubt if she'll go very far but she looks cute. Shefali Shah as usual, did a great job in this movie. One character who steals the show is undoubtedly the old poet who is both charming and inspiring. Milind Gunaji cannot be remembered for the role. Don't expect lot of scenic beauty of Delhi. Nice driving of the story, but whatever that makes me feel like taking back all the good words I've said so far is the screenplay – believe me, I found it haunting.
I did not expect much from this movie, thinking that this is just another film of terrorism. But I was wrong. Music was good. Overall, a very entertaining movie, which kept my attention thorughout the movie & at last delivers some message too. Its worth watching for true movie lovers.
