Bharti Axa is a highly unethical company and never fall prey to the scammer salesman selling the insurance policies.
I receive a call today from a Bharti AXA salesman saying that there is an elite advantage insurance policy that gives nearly 12% returns after 12 years. i.e Paying 1 lakh every year for 12 years and at the end of 12 years, I'll receive a lump sum of 27.5lakhs. I am generally hesitant to do any insurance policies, so I try to brush him off. But he was literally persistent and he said some offer is going on due to the anniversary of Bharti AXA which is giving double benefits. He just hands over the calls to his manager Sxxxxxl N for further explanation.
Now, this Sxxxxxl guy explains to me about IRDAI, Bharti Axa and his sales pitch goes on and on. He convinces me 1 lakh per year for 12 years will result in 27.5 lakhs due to some promotion going on and today is the last date for such promotion due to IRDAI has given only 3 days to sell this promotion. With that promotion, there is a massive discount on GST to be paid and also they are giving 120% of the first premium in the final payout. Then he asks me to open an excel sheet where he comes up with some formulas to show that how I am getting 11.8% IRR over 12 years and how this policy is the most selling policy due to very high return on investment. I get some doubts for which he explains his past commitments, customer care( he mentions some random name like Rithvik Ahuja, etc) whom he had sold the policy and how helped them to get claims, and due to that many policies is being given by them, etc. I asked him some time to go through the policy in detail, but he refused to give any time as an offer is going to end today and I'll lose out on many offers. Then I said I don't have that much money, he says he also has some offers to pay credit card interest through some cashback. Finally, I am convinced and I agreed to take the policy after 2 hours of talking.
Within no minute, I am forced to give the cheque without allowing me to do the due diligence. But when I called my friend who is well versed with finances., he laughed at me for being so naive. He said no company can offer that much returns currently, and said this is nothing but a scam to sell the policy to meet the target.
Again this Sxxxxxl guy calls me back and tries to convince me by telling some fake stories about his past, how he had worked in LIC etc. One look at this LinkedIn shows it's all a big lie. He has learned to sell the insurance by faking the information just to meet the target. But this scam is not limited to him alone, it's all salesman at this company are frauds.
Avoid this company like plague. I have also decided not to renew my car insurance with this unethical company.
Beware of Sxxxxxl(99671 9XXXX). Apparently, he does not work for Bharti Axa, but IndiaInfoline. He is a fraud of the highest order.
