I have special memories associated with the Noida branch of Berco’s. This was the place where my husband and I were formally engaged in the presence of friends and family. However, my views on the restaurant are not going to be any way clouded by this one momentous occasion of my life.
When one enters Berco’s (the Noida outlet), one is simply taken in by the amount of open space that they have. Compared to other eating joints in Delhi and Noida, and more so with the Berco’s outlet at Connaught Place, this one is really huge and the greenery is a veritable feast for the eyes.
I think that the Noida outlet is more popular than the one to Connaught Place, because on many an occasion one has had to encounter serpentine queues at peak hours – a privilege that eludes the guys at CP.
Another big plus is the live band that plays good music towards the evening. Music, open space … what you need now to be completely bowled over by Berco’s Noida is good food. And you will not be disappointed with this aspect also.
For starters, we normally go for Chicken Spring Roll or Chinese Omelet, immediately followed by Chicken Talumien Soup or Tom Kha Kai Soup. In the main course, my favorite is Prawn in Red Sauce or Shrimps in Green Sauce along with Chicken Noodles or Rice. This is best digested with Fresh Lime Soda (sweet). Lichi ice cream marks a perfect end to this great outing. BURP!! Also, the bar here is good for those who wish to get sozzled.
The staff service is very good. However, a minor irritant is the noise level that assumes alarming proportions at times. This is because the music and conversation of the guests happen at the same time.
All in all, Berco’s (Noida) is good place to be at towards the weekend. ENJOY!!
