Belur math is the headquarters of Ramakrishna mission. It is located right on the bank of hoogly river .
A very peaceful and well maintained spot managed by Ramkrishna paramhans mission and is open to people of all faith.
Prayers are conducted every evening .A museum is also there dedicated to life of swami vivekananda.
It closes from 12 to 4 pm. entry is free and do take part in sandhya aarti .
this place is not to be missed if you ever plan for kolkata.
