Begum jaan is a movie which is released in the month of april with A certificate starring vidya balan, naseeruddin shah, chunkey pandey etc as the main stars. The story of this movie is based on the partition between india and pakistan in 1947. The basis of this line is radcliff line which crosses through the middle of the begum jaan's house ( vidya balan) . Officers of indian govt.and pakistan govt. tried to explain begum jaan a lot for evacuating their house but vidya denied their proposal by saying that it is her house and why should she leave her house without any reason. Thus lastly the govt officials hired some goons to threaten begum jaan so that she leave her house. But the situation becomes a deadly war between begum jaan and the goons. In the end begum jaan and her other female collagues burnt themselves alive in their own house. The whole story of the movie revolves around begum jaan only and thus there is no strong base. I find this movie somewhat boring but it can be seen atleast once. Vidya has done a very strong character and she was honest to her role in the whole movie. I would like to give this movie 2* .
