This review will ensure that a better kind of discipline is maintained by the Indian cricket team. Our team is a very good team but these guidelines (applicable to ODIs) will ensure that we are more consistent than lot of other teams. This is not an official document and can be used by the Indian team management to better their cricketing standards internally.
There are no exceptions to the rule and even the captain should abide by it. This document has been made by a Indian cricket fan who played cricket at some level ( school and college) and understands the basics of the game and wants this team to do well as this team has the potential to be the BEST.
A Bowler:
· Who bowls more than two no balls or wide balls, gets docked of 1% of his match fee.
· Who does not bowl to his field more than once and gives more than 2 runs in the process, then each time he does it .5% of his match fee gets docked.
· (Fast or medium bowlers) has to bowl atleast one yorker per over in the death of an innings or else .5% of his match fee gets docked.
For Batsmen:
· When a batsman plays a loose shot to get out should be docked of 5% of his match fee.
· When a top order batsman (from No. 1 to 3) does not score more than 35 runs every alternate match 5% of his current match fee should get docked.
For Fielders:
· Every run conceded to the opposition due to poor fielding should be penalised with .5% of their match fee.
· Every catch dropped should be penalised with 5% of the match fee.
Whatever match fee is docked will be returned if the said bowler, batter or fielder shows better returns in the subsequent matches.
As evident in the reviews I posted before this, I am a hard taskmaster. :-)
