The BCCI Is DESPERATELY On Save-Ganguly-At-any-Cost Mission !
Something (I'm tempted to say 'everything' ) is definitely Rotten in the Affairs of the BCCI.
All know for sure that the Board is going to SAVE Ganguly at any cost working out a made-up compromise giving Ganguly time to prove himself fit to be the Captain till the Coach runs out of steam!. It's a foregone conclusion & we don't need a Dalmia or a street-parrot to tell us. (Borngenius is more than enough, hunh?) Why's the Board (bored?) hell-bent on saving Ganguly and damaging the future of Indian Cricket once-for-all?
More reports are coming thick & fast now but nothing in favor of Sourav continuing as the Captain!. How sad! As 'brevity is the soul of wit', (inner-voice: why sweat it out for 5+ points?), let me be as pointed & brief as possible.
The former BCCI Chief Raj Singh had made STARTLING REVELATIONS about the Politics in & the maneuvers of The Board authorities & laid bare what are all going on behind the curtain. (skeletons in the cupboard !) Of course, this has to be taken with a grain of salt (& pepper)?
Here is a brief summary of what we could gather from the crying-for-attention report of the ex-Chief & others who really matter( Don't they echo the Nation's Voice (here, through me, borngenius)?):
Captain Ganguly should be sent out & Coach Chappell should be allowed to continue his task of taking Indian Cricket Forward.
Ganguly is protected by another person from Kolkata. It is by none other than Jagmohan Dalmia having powerful remote-control over all the affairs of the Board. (He seems to be the main Power-Centre & the present Chief seems to be his dummy, sorry for the observation).
It is none other than Dalmia who leaked the confidential & sensitive e-mail out. The leak was to a Bengali Paper. The men who knew the lingua franca (Bengali) are Dalmia, the Supermost-Power & the Board's Joint Secretary, Gautam Das Gupta.
The present Chief Ranbir Singh is duty-bound to answer to the Nation as to how a copy of such a sensitive material was sent to Dalmia & other lapses in the matter?
Why is the Coach Chappell asked to send his reply to the Selection-Committee Chairman Kiran More & Dalmia? Where does Dalmia come in? What is he?
Ganguly is undermining and challenging Chappell and this indiscipline should not go unchecked.
The Ex-Coach John Wright, had to quit because he could not ENDURE the ABUSES from the Captain & his Cronies (Bengal Brigade?).
Fitness: It is a known fact that Ganguly is of fragile physique & physically slower. He is known for shirking away from facing Bowlers on helpful pitches. He'd prefer fielding at safe deep square leg position in the field. Some certificates about his fitness may be obtained (the Team-Manager would arrange for one) but everyone knows the truths.
His mysterious injuries: (some samples) complaining a leg problem on having a look at the greenish looking pitch & suddenly dropping himself out at Old Trafford (1999). How fair is it? Why should other players suffer?
Why did he not play the test against Australia at Nagpur in October, 2004? Why did he opt out complaining at the last minute of troublesome hip-joint? Mysterious Injury again?
The nervous ways of the Captain on & off the field.
His attempts to divide the team.
& so on & so forth.
The BCCI should be made accountable for all the alleged omissions & commissions and the Nation has a right to the right Information. It should not be allowed to get away by working up a band-aid solution to the chronic malady afflicting Indian Cricket. A brief about this Tuesday Inquiry must be made public. The Nation must Demand justice and fair-play & Transparency.
WHO IS TO BELL THE CAT?
The Watch-dogs like us, who else?
