For me wearing glasses was always a big deal, I never liked it. Mark on my nose and the fact that I couldn't run or do anything freely like other people, used to make me grumpy. In 8th standard I started swimming regularly and I hate not being able to see under water. So my Mother took me to the eye specialist, he said I could give a try to contact lenses. The first 2-3 months were tough. The constant feeling that there is something in my, the irritation, but I was hellbent on not giving up. Gradually as months passed by and I made it a habit to wear the lenses regularly, in order to get used to them.
My first pair of contact lenses were Baush & Lomb and even today I am loyal to this brand. Back then there were not many companies like johnson & johnson. But now there are many other companies and Bausch & Lomb too has come up with different and better kinds of contacts. For instance for the past year and a half I have been wearing the HD Pure Vision ones, which are a far cry from the normal soft lens ones.
Earlier, when I used to wear the soft lens, withing 8-9 hours my eyes used to start drying up and become itchy. But the Pure vision are so soft and powerful that from morning till night it feels fresh.
The range of different kinds of lenses that Bausch & Lomb has, I don't think other companies have so many different kinds. I prefer the monthly disposable ones and usually get a pack of 6 lenses. Since the power in both my eyes is different, I have to buy different boxes. They recently revised the prices, the pure visions cost Rs. 4200, it wasn't so high before. But the box lasts for 6 months. I don't hesitate to pay this much amount for this brand. My personal experience has been absolutely wonderful. Don't know about others, but my life is so much better with contact lenses.
The Pure Vision version of Bausch & Lomb are so good that I don't want to try any other brand.
