Bassi Theatre is one of the oldest theatre in mohali, located in Phase-2 and is easily visible as its quiet big but its big house for rats and will provide you a worst experience. I reviewed Bassi theatre in different aspects:
Ambience:
Bassi theatre is a large theatre or I can say a large house for rats and other animals, you don't need to visit zoo if you want to see animals you can come to this theatre and they also play movies. Seats are also broken and it's too old that it needs some serious renovation.
Ticket Prices:
Ticket prices are cheap but you can't even watch a movie for free in this theatre. The tickets are also like a local bus ticket and I was actually laughing when I saw the ticket.
Picture and Sound Quality:
Well if I talk about picture quality you will feel that you are watching a really old movie even if the movie is old, they are using too old equipments and if I talk about sound quality so in the generation of 7.1 surround the sound of this theatre stands nowhere and will not be able to properly heard anything clearly.
Value for money:
This theatre is not at all value for money its impossible to watch a complete movie sitting there as I left in between the movie so its better not to spend money for movie in this theatre.
Conclusion:
I will not recommend anyone to watch a movie in this theatre as there are so many rats there and seats are broken, its like a zoo.So its better to watch movie in cinemas like pvr as it will be worth spending there.
