It was the worst experience to watch a movie in Bassi theatre. There were rats jumping on the seats of the hall. We actually ran out of the theatre without watching the movie. The seats were broken and the hall was STINKY. Screen quality is absolutely poor.
It is one of the very old theatres in Punjab but not at all maintained. The theatre is in a very bad condition.
This theatre always comes up with all the old and weird movies like ‘Bihari Mafia’ etc.
Ticket charges are very low, starting from Rs. 30. But I think, there is no use of keeping such low costs when you cannot even maintain the infrastructure.
Also, the gentry which comes to watch the movies is not at all good.
It is just occupying a huge amount of area and that too in the residential sectors.
It is not even worth spending Rs. 30.
