Bajirao mastani film about the peshwa who try to fight against mughal dynasty fell in love with mastani princess of bundhulkhand king after helping them win against mughals!
All the characters starting from Ranveer, priyanka, deepika had done their role perfectly. I liked 2 songs from film one is obviously pinga and other is deepikas dance in glass mahal.Location choosing and set are made to near perfect. The film takes place in Pune region which is ruled by peshwa - prime minister under Sahu maharaja. He starts his campaign against mughals to establish a hindu state by removing mughals from delhi. On the way he helps deepikas kingdom and get in love with her.
She was sent as a gift to peshwa for helping him win war against mughals.But she was not accepted by peshwas kith and kin. What happens next is the remaining story. Movie got slow pace but still it doesnt bore us. It shows us problem of religion which even taunt us in this era.
Its a must watch for lovers and people who love history.
