Finally, I watched this movie and frankly, it's all right.

Firstly, I want to give it to Priyanka Chopra for givng a tremendous performance as Kashibai, Bajirao's first and legitimate wife. The way she looked at Bajirao with tear filled eyes and at Mastani with eyes filled with shame and disgust, yet at the same time, filled with pain and loss.

Unlike Priyanka, Deepika gave the same expressions of sadness. She's always crying and quite honestly, her character was darn annoying. And there's no justification to her character.

I was quite impressed with Ranveer Singh's accent. I'm a resident of Pune, have been borne and brought up here, but I still can't pull the marathi accent. Yes, he may have had accent teachers around but still, it's commendable.

Bajirao and Mastani have insane, stupid and unnecessary dialogues. Like Sanjay Leela Bansali wanted the dialogues to be hits so he shoved them in for no reason. I mean didn't they talk like normal people? In an effort to make it poetic, they lost sense.

On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra stole it. I absolutely love her. She deserves all the appreciation. So I sat throughout the entire movie, just to watch Priyanka's performance. I actually felt bad for her. She was THAT convincing. But for Deepika and Ranveer, um, nah!
