I was very excited about the movie as it was a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. He has managed to keep his own print/stamp on the movie, Grand sets, huge masses in the film, proper usage of the colors in his film.
Talking about the cast, the proper maratha looking cast has been there in the movie. Deepika has done a very good job. Though priyanka had a very small role to play, she took it all over in the song pinga, where she looked and danced really well.I found Ranveer singh overacting in few scenes and one song. I didnt like his acting.
The plot of the movie roams around the life and love story of bajirao I, the Maratha Peshwe. Mastani, played by Deepika, was a brave girl and the beloved of Bajirao. The story goes round showing how love does have any boundaries of the caste and creed.
Over all, a nice movie.
