Pulsar 180 is now available as BS4 compilant with AHO.It has been launched as a 2017 model.
Engine÷
The engine remains the same 178.6cc dtsi engine.It produces a power of 17 PS at 8500 rpm and 14.22Nm of torque at 6500 rpm.It has got 2valves aircooled engine.
The bike has the same inpressive mileage of 40-45 kmpl.
Looks÷
Pulsar 180 had a bold look. But now with new side claddings males it look like a sharp shooter.
Suspension÷
Pulsar 180 had a beeter suspension but has been improved further with front telescopic suspension and rear nitrox shock .
Braking ÷
Pulsar comes with same wider rear tyres and has added a rear disc to improve its braking.The braking has become much more better and would only find the improvement on riding it.
It now comes with new alloy wheels.
Features÷
Pulsar 180 now has a newly designed digital instrument.It has changed its collor to blue from orange.You get a digital odometer, tripmeter and fuel gauge.
Comfort÷
The seats are made softer than before and are now more comfortable in long rides.
The best part of the pulsar bikes are that being a sports bike with good mileage figure and range of features , it also has a low maintaneance cost.You can get its servicing done in aboit 1000 rupees.
After sales÷
Bajaj has a very good service for their customers at low price.Owing a pulsar series means you can rely on it easily for several years without any issues.
My recommendation÷
This bike has nothing to dislike.It was only the shifting of gears that was hard but that has been refined by bajaj on the 2017 model.You get good seats , new instrument cluster and additional rear disc at the previous price of the pulsar 180.If you have abudget of 85 to 90 thousand then fo for it.Pulsar has been ruling this segment since many years and expecting to remain the king further.It is even eco friendly with BS4 compilant.
