After having a bad experience with another company I shifted my insurance to bajaj allianz who offered me a better idv at a better premium.
Their staff came over to my residence to click pictures of the car and upload it to their system and approved the insurance within 3 working days. They were quick in sending the documents.
Then in December while traveling to chikmagalur my car had an accident though still driveable I contacted my agent who asked me to call the toll free number, the person on the toll free number was very helpful, he told me I could either claim it there put have to pay cash and then claim from them or else register a claim when I am back home. They had no cashless facility in the area I was in for 5 days.
My agent then asked me to get a survey done and get the hard copy from any garage out there.when I came back I submitted the car to the worskhop and met with the surveyor. I asked him to try and speed up the process as I need the car.
My accident involved my front left side the fog light and headlight being shattered.I spoke to him if he could get an approval for the right side headlight and foglight since there will be a difference on old and new lights, he said it wont be possible so I said do try if not have the showroom change it and I will pay for it.
About 5 days later he called me to inform that the car is ready and I had to pay 3000 I was surprised I asked him if he did not ask the showroom to change the lights? he said he got it approved in the claim.
I thanked him.
this was the first time I had a good claim settlement process leaving aside changing the right side lights, he was constantly updating me more than the workshop was and got things done quick
