In our Indian film, one thing is common, boys will be always heroes, superstars and girls work are to make them perfect or impress them in movie, and this has different categories.
Heroes whose life destroyed by past heroin and this type of movie public slowly start hate or like they put the one glamorous doll, from whom hard to skip eyes and the third one is most popular that is the item song, in the middle of the film they put one item song like a sex object and after that sale the film by focusing those songs
But the good news is that in Bollywood started changes slowly like now girls are not only in movies but the movies are made on girls.
'Badhaai Ho' movie divide the audience into two sections because the topic of the movie is a bit controversial what we say tabu kind of, and if you talk about those topic society start judging you and your character.
This movie focus on the LGBT community's problems and issues with the open mouth without any fear and without any double meaning.
On one side there is a group of audience who hated the movie concept, by saying " what this nonsense going on gay and all, Bollywood now making wrong things for society and trying to spoil people " and other side audiences keep applauding for the great movie.
About casting so Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkumar Rao, one of the true versatile actors. Those kinds of actors kept the Bollywood movies alive, to be honest through their natural acting.

In 2018 one movie was released named "Badhaai ho" which played by another versatile actor Ayushman Khurana and today Badhaai Ho is selling by saying it the sequel of that movie, means the social issue was focused on the previous movie and now they focus on LGBT community issues.

What you like in this movie is how they made themself different from other same concepts-based movies like 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' and 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga'. If you have seen this movie you will notice that this kind of movie presents with double meaning or sell with the comedy.
Personally what I like the most is this time Bollywood welcomes one of the northeast Indian actresses Chum Darang. She got a very important role.
