Worst experience. Review on Backpackclan

Hope you guys having great time because we aren't having the same.

I am posting this review from my ongoing trip. We all members have faced multiple issues during our trip to Sikkim.

Please find few of them listed below which will help other travellers for taking services from you.

First:

You took an entire booking charge before the trip itself which I understand is not justice to any travellers. I will tell you why. It's because, you did false commitment and promises.

Second:

Day 1: We called you multiple times before reaching NJP to send the Cab for NJP-Gangtok, however, we waited for freaking 2hrs and you forced us to book a local taxi from our own since your cab faced some technical issues.

Third:

Day 2: You told us that we don't need to pay any toll or passing charges, but the driver asked us to pay toll and other charges multiple times. Even we paid 4000/-. While returning, driver didn't stop for snacks, he gave us an option either he will drop us to the hotel or at the restaurant. We were hungry and choose to stop at restaurant and from there we booked an another taxi to come back to the hotel. Baddest and rudest behaviour of ur driver. Strictly no from my side.

Fourth:

Day 3: We get another driver who was polite and directly drove to Lachen, there were lots of points which were mentioned in your pdf. Points that were not covered are (Shingba wildlife century, Chopta Valley and Thangu)

Fifth:

Day 4: Due to weather, Gurudongmar Lake was closed but you already charged us for permit of that as well. Lots of fuel and cost of travelling was saved still you didn't provide and alternative sightseeing. After this, we drove to Lachung and stayed in Dharmshala kind of hotel, worst place to stay. Yumthang was closed too and you charged us for that as well.

Six:

Day 5: We requested you multiple times to return few money to us and provide a local Gangtok sightseeing for it, however, you already charged us for that too. 1500 per person for local sightseeing. This was your behaviour, you expect us to show professionalism and due to your ego and attitude, you gave us a WagonR for 4 members for sightseeing. This is what you have shown your level of greediness. Somehow, we did local sightseeing without any enjoyment.

We asked driver for taking us to Zoological park, he asked us for 500/- extra to go. What the hell was that?

Don't you guys have seen money or what?

Every time we paid you like anything and everytime it seems like we are giving a bribe to you guys for roaming around.

Totally bad experience with BackPackClan, Not recommended at all. They will take your hard-earned money and book a vendor(Ace Travels) for you and tell you to talk to them as BackPackclan team is not on the ground.

They will talk to you like they are your boss and expect professionalism from customers.

They will not take a halt to grab snacks and give you an option to choose either from restaurant or hotel.

It's your money and if you want to enjoy then I'll suggest just come here and book all these services from local directly. You will save atleast 20-25000/-.
