B.P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology is located near Poddar Vihar in Kolkata close to Kolkata Airport. It was established in 1999 and gives technical education in electrical, electronics, IT and computer science. Another campus in salt lake provides MBA and MCA courses.
My opinion : I have been a student of 2014-18 batch and I am most disappointed with the placements during our batch. Very few companies came and we had to seat for a strike to get clg authorities to get more companies. The campus has no field and very small space. The teachers dont have proper knowledge and only utter bookish stuffs. Placement cell makes little effort to see whether students got jobs. They are only using students fees to upgrade their own salary and clg renovation rather than making efforts towards students getting placed in good companies. They even show fake placement results in their websites.
Conclusion: If you have cleared Joint Entrance then dont select this clg in counselling as you will regret later.
