Beware of the'cash back'(sic) offers advertised by this bank! Back in October'14, they had advertised 5% cash back at various stores, of which i'd shopped at Westside & Hypercity, well in excess of the minimum purchase value and the cash back was to be credited into the card account in Dec'14.
It's February'15 and counting, and i've haven't heard from them even after calling up their helpline and registering my strong feedback on this con job. For the record, though unrelated to my case, this is the same bank that was in the news recently for a rude communication to a national sportsperson, for which they had to issue a public apology.
I think it's really sneaky of the retail brands and the bank to pull such fast ones on their customers. One side they are increasing the spend on brand building and their operations team is ensuring that all the efforts go in vain, by pulling such cheap con.
If they can't delivery on commitments, then they should NOT make them in the first place.
Shame on the bank and the associated retail brands.
