After having read The Twilight Series it is obvious you get into comparing. Keeping that aside, I would say the story is pretty interesting in its own way. There’s a lot of similarity about what and who Vampires are… makes one think, are Vampires for real? The story is about Elena Gilbert who lives with her aunt and lil sister, the most wanted and famous girl of her high school. Her 2 friends Bonnie, a psychic and Meredith. Matt a guy whom she considers a dear friend.

Stefan enters high school. Stefan is a Vampire, a really handsome guy. He survives on animal blood and not human just to be less brutal for a Vampire. Katherine, who changed Stefan and his brother Damon. Katherine, whom both the brothers loved. Katherine, who dies so the brothers don’t fight for her. Katherine, who looks a LOT like Elena.

In the beginning, Stefan avoids Elena. But one day came, he had to open up n his love for Elena couldn’t hide. Damon, is stronger coz he survives on human blood. He traps Stefan, he kills people in the town, he too wants Elena. In the end, Elena comes to know the reality of Stefan being a Vampire from his own mouth and about Damon, Katherine and their past.

But, it ends a little sad when Stefan is missing or dead, no one knows. Angry Elena goes in the woods to know the answers n screams for “Damon”.
