AVG STINKS..MAY CONTAIN TROJAN

After reading the great reviews for this free ant virs proggie on MS, I downloaded all 6 MB and installed it.

this bloody software keeps crashing my system, cant

co-exist with my Clean-Sweep, and is a bloody useless

program...

I couldnt detect a single virus on my system, its

interactions with Outlook express is pathetic, i

wud strongly advise anyone NOT to use this product until

they are some sort of computer gurus...

my free a-vir proggie of choice is F-prot for dos...

What the hell is this guy on. I'm pretty sure he has absolutely know idea what he's talking about. AVG is NOT unstable (unless you're using ME in which case everything is unstable) AVG has not crashed my system once. As far as email scanning and...client compatablity ''robocop'' (real original and obviously thought out) should switch to another email client other that one put out by $soft. There are no trojans bundled with AVG nor are there any problems with this ''bloody'' software. It is simply the best...period. Read More

so far so good,

i am a reasonably proficient computer user, 4 years in india' top engg college, a graduate degree etc. and have written quite a few virii in my time... i'm no fan o...f microsoft either.

but i stand by wot i hav written about avg6+, IT STINKS!!!!

OK maybe the trojan bit was a little far out, but the behaviour of this avg program was SIMILAR to a trojan's.

As for the ''well thought out name of ROBOCOP'', perhaps
n8chavez (very original too) would care to read my review on the Delhi Police..

I've had bad luck with Norton / Symantec utilities for years and years. Cleansweep crashed my computer. Norton AntiVirus won't allow other programs to run properly, and older versions of Norton Utilities used to crash my Windows 95 and 98 systems eve...ry time I booted. I suggest getting rid of CleanSweep because in my opinion, it is bad for your system and it is totally worthless (doesn't do what it should do, which is uninstall programs completely). Read More
