You. know something , a theatre owned by the government under a trust and the intresting fact is that it was biult 104 years ago, the latest information I gathered, also it features only english movies, to be specific the seating numbers are strictly followed even when the theater is not crowded the seating numbers are followed.
its there in the garden road, a major spot of attraction, but what ruins is that the posters stuck in the front walls, makes the theater look like its ONLY FOR THE MEN.
But, it doesnt seem to be, eventhough its not a high tech theater , it's got its own past, I believe it was an entertainment for the brits.
I like the display near the ticket counter, shoes, leather goods etc, for the reason its a nice place to advertise,i've got to say about the loo's, pathetic, pantry im afraid to say its bad.
the tickets are cheap, you can see only the local jockeys , locals visting this theater, my opinion is that may beits because its government owned the maintenence is poor and pathetic,it could be mede better, to mention the patch of lawn can be mown, the ticket pricemay be increased to adjust the maintenance charges, Basically, the trust have to create an image to portray the theatre as an enterntainment place not as a place to shelter for the rain and the cold climate.
I dont know why only english movies are featured, that remains a mystery,
