This review is related to our dining experience at Kohinoor Asiana (Asian) Restaurant on OMR Road.
I would neither visit this joint once again nor would recommend to any one who I know of for the following reasons:
We are a group of 8 folks who have arrived just at 3PM; though we had earlier booking, only to be told that the buffet is closed.
We did inform once again that 8 are for sure are dropping by for the lunch & requested them to arrange for a buffet as an option after reaching the hotel.
But we were informed only the A La Carte would be available: just fine; as we have barely managed to be on time.
Ambiance: just fine
Food Quality: not up to the mark on any aspect: we have ordered parothas, subz biryani and some starters, Cream of Mushroom soup...food is neither fresh nor tasty...
Service: Pathetic. It took about 1.5hrs for us to have the minimally ordered food and another half an hour or so for us to followup for the billing...Indeed, while we are informed that A La Carte menu is available, simple things like Rotis are not available. Whatever they claim to be a Parotha is just avoidable; so is the Veg Jalfrezi..
Biryani is a saving grace for this hitherto insipid fare.
Inordinately slow responses, no timely clearing up of the plates are the hall marks of the service that we have experienced.
Price Value Proposition: just a ripoff.
