I got these guys through a google search. All ratings are above 4 stars only. I should have gotten alerted.
They asked for 17K to move. Although it is high, we need some professional packers and movers to safely move our TV, Fridge, Washing machine, AC etc to our native - 400 kms.
On the day of moving, packers came, done packing, moved the goods in a good container. I am happy. But after 2 days also no phone call from them. Not picking calls too.
After several attempts, one guy took the phone and asked - who are you? What goods? I was shocked. And then he forwarded to another guy. It goes on.
Later I came to know that - The container which picked my goods is just a show-off. They have dumbed all my valuable goods - Flat TV, Large Fridge, High-end Washing Machine in an old shed.
All of a sudden a guy called and said, ''If you give 4k I can deliver your goods. I am a lorry driver''.
''Hey who is this man, I paid 17K already''.
He -'' I don't know those things. They have paid me 5k only, if you pay me 4k more, I can take your goods, else all goods will be there in the old shed. If rain starts, all your goods will be spoiled, as they are lying on a sand floor.''
My heart started pumping fast.
So these PACKERS AND MOVERS guys..
1. Doing perfect bubble wrapping
2. Perfect written billing
3. Good Container - all show off.
So after reaching their local office they dumped out all the goods in a shed and started to another destination for another drama. NEAT packing - GOOD container - But after leaving your house, dumping all your goods in a filthy shed.
Another guy-a driver- he too called me. The owner or manager - Monu Singh- a very cool guy. He just shouted at me, why are you not giving just 4k and saving your goods?''. I am so frustrated.
Daily it becomes my routine to call him and he will reply in a relaxed manner. ''It will move tomorrow.'' daily same reply. ''.tomorrow.''.
He initially accepted to drop some of my luggages in a location on the way. But now he refused.
I was really frustrated until it reached my house after 8 days. I used to call him twice daily. Else he would have forgotten.
Again after reaching my location at around 5 am - I told him not to reach that early as my old mum is the only lady available- as usual, our gentle man reached without listening.
After reaching at 5 am, the driver is calling me, '' Sir, I need some load man to get the things down. I cannot pay. You have to pay''. See the level of atrocities guys. Again I called from Mysore to my native town and arranged load man over the phone and spent 4000 rs extra for unloading goods.
Final touch - I lost 5 card board boxes. No reply.
