Mission Impossible to bear. Review on Asambhav - Hindi

Whenever I feel an urge to praise a movie or to disparage it, I come back to this site.

This time, ASAMBHAV.

Bollywood really needs good screenplay writers. I don't know whom to contact, otherwise I would have applied for this job.

Asambhav means Impossible. Really it is impossible to bear this movie.

STORY: President of India and his daughter are kidnapped in Switzerland by some International terrorist who has done this work under contract for 50mUS$ by ISI. Now Arya (ARJUN RAMPAL) is sent as a press reporter to Switzerland to fetch him back to India. There he meets Alisha (PRIYANKA) who has been entangled into a drug smugglists gang of Sam (NASEERUDDIN SHAH). Sam owns a hotel where Alisha is a dancer.

The movie just goes on very fast and there we are revealed that there are 3 people who want to have president of India as a hostage. One is ISI, second is Sam, 3rd is the Indian ambassador in Switzerland. Then there are so many sequences how Arya goes and frees the President.

PERFORMANCES:

Arjun has done a fantastic job. He is really a dashing personality. Girls do watch him (not the movie).

Priyanka was hopeless as always. There was really no need for an actress.

Naseeruddin Shah has done a fantastic job for a wonderful and strong role.

Mukesh Rishi, Tom Alter, Milind Gunaji and etc were just normal.

MUSIC: HOPELESS, no need to listen to it.

MY SPECIAL COMMENTS:

Ok, first of all, let me tell you, the movie is so fast that till the first half you wont even understand whats going on and who's who. For eg: in the second half we get to know who exactly is Sam, what does he do.

Secondly, the movie is quite long.

Thirdly, there are so many characters in the movie. Thats also a fruitless factor.

Fourthly, there were semi-nude girls shown every where in the movie. Naseer is holding a semi-nude girl every time he is shown, ISI agents are shown with semi-nude girls dancing. The criminals have such girls in their gangs and I mean every where girls and girls and nudity. I mean it is ok till a limit but please can't they be shown wearing clothes? Feminity is shown to be dominated by the darker sex. Women are no more than massagers and sex toys in this movie. Really shameful for an indian producer to think like that.

fifthly, there was no need of an actress in the movie.

sixthly, there is no comedy. As always in hindi movies, whenever a hero is going on a secret mission he is always provided with a colleague who keeps on entertaining him and the viewers. Yes here's the same case but we dont know who is the character and was he really doing comedy?

seventhly, the ISI agents and workers are shown like some street criminals shouting like dogs.

OK OK....halt....some good things in the movie also...

firstly, Arjun Rampal and Naseer were really good.

secondly, the president's daughter was really gorgeous. Beautiful. Heheh

thirdly, Thank god I didn't sleep in the theatre.

The movie is useless, I dont need to say anything more. Rajiv Rai in his interview some days back said that viewers will not even get time to eat pop corn in the movie halls. He was right, we really didn't get the time, we spent whole time in trying to understand the movie.
