The Aquafresh toothpaste I am going to write about here is Aquafresh Fresh and Minty.
I find that this toothpaste is one of the best on the market, due to its various great properties.
The main active ingredient is Sodium Floride 0.306% w/w. Other ingredients contained in Aquafresh fresh and minty are: Aqua/water. Hydrated silica. Sorbitol. Glycerin. PEG-6. Sodium lauryl sulfate. Aroma/flavour. Xanthan gum. Titanium dioxide. Carrageenan. Sodium Saccharin. C173360 & C174160.
If you brush your teeth with this toothpaste at least twice a day, as I do, (once in the morning & once before going to bed) then your teeth will become protected against plaque & decay.
There are 3 coloured stripes in Aquafresh.
Firstly there is the red stripe. This element fights the plaque buildup on your teeth, thus protecting your gums.
Secondly there is the white stripe. This fights against tooth decay, thus reducing the need to have fillings and/or extractions at the dentist. I think this is excellent as I hate having fillings. (The dentist is my pet hate).
Thirdly the blue stripe is for a fresher breath. I find this toothpaste is a good way of keeping your breath smelling sweetly, especially after those curries, garlic etc., because there is a minty after taste which lasts for quite a while.
My teeth and gums are much better after using this toothpaste.
Aquafresh comes in different sizes of tubes. These are 50ml and 100ml. The prices are £0.89GBP for the 50ml and £1.65GBP for the 100ml. These prices are based on United Kingdom Safeway prices at 29.06.02. I usually buy the larger size, which I find is more of an economical value.
I do recommend Aquafresh Fresh and Minty for any prospective user.
