I’m in the market for a new phone so in the past few weeks I’ve been trying out tons and tons of new phones so I’m going to be reviewing some of them. So here goes!
The first phone I’m gonna be reviewing is the iPhone 6S. Design wise the iPhone 6S is almost the same as the iPhone 6 but not exactly the same. The difference I saw immediately is the S badge under the iPhone logo at the back which makes it a bit cluttered. The 6S is made with a better quality aluminium which means that it won’t bend as easily which happened last year with the iPhone 6. Its available in many colours like Silver, Gold, Space Grey and Rose Gold(which is just a fancy way of saying pink!). The 6S is bigger, taller and wider than the 6S, so it does feel a bit much in your hand and the rounded edges make it slip frequently. The 6S has the improved TouchID which reads your fingerprint when you press the home button. It was present in the iPhone 6 but in the 6S its now faster.
The specs have been improved. The 6S is rocking the Apple A9 dual core chip which is much faster than the A8 chip. The A9 chip is manufactured by 2 companies – TSMC and Samsung. Now when you buy the 6S you won’t really now which chip you have inside your phone. Now the phone I was using had a Samsung manufactured A9 chip. The internet tells that the TSMC chip is faster and it also gives you 2 hours of extra battery life. The 6S has also a speed near 2 GHz and 2GB of RAM. It has the 1715mAH battery. It also has 3D touch, I didn’t know what it was until after I tried using it. It’s basically pressure sensitive touch. The main improvement is the camera. It now as a 12MP camera which is awesome and the photos are stunning. The 6S costs Rs.62,000 for the 16GB model and Rs.92,000 for the 128GB model.
Price wise it’s not the best phone there is but if you’re rich then you should get this one judging by the specs and improvements.
