My mother Thankamma Thomas got admitted at Apollo hospital Bangalore at Banarghetta road just with a fever. She was able to even walk inside to the hospital. Once we reached at hospital they asked as about the insurance.
We told them that we have medical insurance and they admitted her. After that three days she was in the room and daily one or two doctors come at there will to have checkup. After three days of several blood checkups doctors declared that she can go home and there is no problem and it is only a viral fever. On the fourth day her condition was gone very weak and they have to shift her to the ICU. After fourth day they declared that she is effected with Malaria and her condition is very bad. From that day they started several costly testing and treatment .
After 15 days of treatment it cost as almost several lks and her condition was becoming worst. Finally they told as to take her to some other hospital and we shifted her to St.Johns. After 15 days there she passed away. This hospital is noting but a pure business hospital. They look at your insurance amount at start treatment.
Can anybody think that after being admitted to a hospital and they are not able to identify that it is MALARIA which is effected my mother. I review this Apollo Hospital Bangalore as BAD THAN WORST.
