My requirements are "watching TV and HD gameplay" in monitor. Finally after 15 days of searching and comparing, I came to know that AOC monitors are the best in the business. In fact I wanted to buy 22" but I just got gtx260 graphic card so I don't think I will be able to play games in full 1080p resolution. So I decided with 20'. And I selected the model of AOC e2043FSK which is the sleekest and lightest of all the monitors and has 50Million: 1 ratio of DCR which is the highest.(second highest is the Phillips monitor which is 20million:1). I ordered this monitor from "Infibeam" for 6300Rs(now its available for 6200Rs in infibeam) but later they said its out of stock and they offered e2050s its similar to e2043fsk but little fatty.

The boxing is normal its like a laptop box, the weight of the box is about 3.2 KG. The monitor comes with Power cord, VGA cable, Driver CD, manual.
The moniter is excellent looking at the back there is matte finish with AOC brand name, and at the middle there is a connector box(see the image) to connect the cables. It doesn't have DVI connector but its not a big deal and U can't expect
The front of the moniter is cool with glocy finish and the moniter screen is not glocy that is really good becoz if the screen is glocy U may worry about reflections and it may get scratches easily.
The stand is in three parts. First one is the screwed top part to moniter bottom, the lower stand and and the middle one that seperates both the moniter stand and the table stand(U can separate it with a switch). Due to the design the monitor stand is little bit " swingy" so it might swing when U shake the computer table. But its not a bus right so no need to worry. I rarely move my table so forget it.

THE SCREEN and the OUTPUT of COLORS
Its native resoltuion is 1600x900(maximum), 20million:1 DCR(second highest in AOC), VGA connector, no adapter just direct power suppl. And 170-160 viewing angle with 5ms response.
Simply brillient. I brought Zebronics TV tuner card for 1250Rs(external) and I have Tataksy STB(not HD) so I immediately connected it to the moniter and I set the resolution to 1600x900 on the tv tuner. Then I spent bit of time adjusting the menu settings for better view but later I realised that the company default settings are better, U can change them easily with just a press of the button at the bottom left side(text, video, game, movie options available)
I tell U guys the colors its emmits is awesome, my friend got LG 2060t LED but that is no way near to this moniter when it comes to brightness and colors(U may thinking what is colors, well for example; from thick red to light red there is thousands of "REDs" normal moniter won't show all of them, my previous moniter was one such, when I print something then the colors are 50% different than I see on the moniter so I had to play with setting in Photoshop to get near to what I want to print and while playing games I had to use some tools to improve the colors). Since its got 20million:1 DCR I can see the tv from side ways with 90% colors, U can't expect that with 7K moniter becoz if U turn moniter to side the images will become shady, and from below U can't se the image at all. In this moniter U can see from side ways from top and bottom, but from bottom right side U will get 75% colors(well I can watch tv by laying on the floor while the monitor is on the computer table).
I watch TV from 3 meters distance, I don't feel it like moniter I feel it like tv. The moniter lights up my entire room, that how bright it is. If I compare my previous HP19" LCD with this I feel like "how much fun I missed since years".
The games are much more excellent than before infact 80% better than before, The better thing about this moniter is that it out performs my LG HD TV24" when it comes to colors and clarity. I recently played MASS EFFECT 3, BF3, Alan awake etc.
The TEXT: Its very clear, its mostly depends on Ur graphic card so, due to heavy DCR the black color in images or videos is exceptional I never seen this much of "Black" in monitors before. the menu of the monitor is excellent there is lot of settings but I don't use them. The monitor has 5ms response good enough for fast moving objects especially in games. There is 3ms monitor available in AOC but that not necessary I think. Becoz U won;t find the difference much.
The screen is like dust proof its been a month already but I just cleaned it once, other things on my computer table gets dust in a week but suprisingly this monitor screen doesn't catch dust while other parts of the monitor catches dust, thats really strange.
GOOD FOR EYES: I can work about 6-8 hours with out getting my'eyes tired", but my previous monitor is pathetic just after 1 hours I had wash my eyes. So its good for heavy work.
Back Light Bleeding: U know, the sleek LED monitors are tend to light bleed, its common in latest models. The back light bleeding is nothing but when U see full black image or background while Ur room is completely dark U will notice there is gaps of lights coming from bottom and top where the LED assembly is. It can be seen in all LED monitors with sleek design even in expensive IPS models, its not defect or problem. And U rarely notice it so I recommend to ignore.
GRAPHIC CARD IS NECESSARY FOR HD MONITORS: Remember U need to have atleast 256MB graphic card in Ur pc to set it to high resolution, of course U can use it with out graphic card but high resolutions will put lot of strain on Ur onboard graphics and ur mother board will heat up alot and may blow. So I recommed atleast 512MB graphic card. Graphic cards are becoming cheap so buy one.
Its is one of the best purchased in the last 3 years I believe. I totally recommend AOC monitors. But U can go with better models and there is IPS panels available for little high price so U can watch it from every angle with more than 90% clarity. Best for games and TV.
I am completly satisfied but I could have more happy with e2043fsk but Its OK, I paid just 6400Rs so I can't expect more.

SERVICE: ==
AOC gives onsite warranty of 3 years, AOC importer is located in Bangalore. Unlike LG, samsung etc that U can find their service centers in every big city AOC lacks such support. But trust me monitors rarely gives problems and that too from world leader in monitors uhmmm very rare.
Where to buy AOC monitors?== U can search local shops and U can also order from online shops like infibeam, ebay, primeabgb, theitdepot, etc. There is lot of better models available with excellent features like very sleek, highest DCR, wall mount, green design(less power) etc. So best of luck.
My second and third choice would be Phillips and Acer.
